Disney Princess Girls Bedroom Theme

Every little girl deserves to be a princess at least once in her life. And the Disney people believe that, too. Look at all the movies they have made with princesses. All kinds of princesses.

Your little girl can have her own Disney Princess bedroom. And it's easy for you to do. When I start working on the decor for a bedroom, I always start with the largest items first. That typically is the bedding. Disney Princess bedding is both charming and very pink just for little girls.

From there, adding little extras is the easy way to complete your daughter's bedroom look. Things like princess wall decals, lamp shades, even stand up dolls are the kind of extras that will easily bring the theme to life.

With easy decorating, we don't need to repaint, add wall paper or buy new furniture. We like to use the smaller items that bring about the effect or theme of the bedroom. For little girls and princesses, the same is true.

Starting with Disney Princess bedding sets is your first step. Then pick the wall decals that you will add and finally find the fun little extras that your daughter will love. Her new theme bedroom will be a hit with her and her friends. And you have the satisfaction of a newly decorated bedroom without the extra expense of redecorating.

Creating a Jungle Theme for Kid's Bedrooms

How many kids love jungle animals? Tons of them, we know. If you child is one of those, creating a jungle-theme bedroom is easy for them.

Whenever I am working with decorating or redecorating a bedroom, the first place is picking the theme for the decor. Then I go for the bedding choices. For kids, jungle bedding is easily found and not to expensive either. That's a great feature when decorating for your child.

The next step is the wall decor. I love wall decals to create the look I want with out much hassle or mess. Jungle theme wall decals are fun to add to a child's room. Some are huge, nearly full-size decals, while others are small little accents that can be added to furniture or even lamp shades.

Working with wall decals is not difficult if you follow a few simple steps. I always place the largest pieces first. Once I know where they will go, then I can easily decide where the smaller pieces will fill in.

With a child's jungle theme, the wall decals may very well be things like large giraffes, monkeys and trees. Then little accents are things like butterflies and jungle flowers.

A bright cheery jungle theme bedroom is easy with wall decals. Plus they are inexpensive enough to get several different groupings and have some fun with your kid's bedroom decor.

Working With Themes for Kid's Bedrooms

When are ready to decorate, or re-decorate for that matter, your child's bedroom, the starting point can be the toughest hurtle. An easy way to get started is to pick a theme. And luckily, themes for children abound.

The TV shows and movies aimed at children very often have licensed merchandise to work with for a bedroom theme. Most likely your child has a favorite character, or two. This becomes a very simple choice. Which character will you use in the decor?

But other great options are also available that don't focus around TV shows or movies. The same types of toys that children enjoy playing with work for themes as well. If your child like monkeys, horses, dinosaurs, etc., these can all be made into a theme for the bedroom.

Don't forget other options, like stars and planets, moon and sun, even flowers make great decor themes, especially for girls.

Themes naturally come with their own color schemes, so you are ahead of the game in that department already. But there other lots of other ways to use themes in your kid's bedroom decor. A little advice and imagination can go along way.
