Decorating the nursery can be easy. Especially when you choose a matching line of items like the Henry Plaid Collection. The whole collection came about out of need. The need to have a unique, fun and interesting look for the baby's room.

A look that simply wasn't available in the store-bought collections. That's what my niece found as she looked for decor for her soon-to-be-born son, Henry. That's when I stepped in with my skills at home decorating, graphic artistry and quilt designing. The end result was the Henry Plaid.

Henry Plaid Jungle Theme

I was able to put the design on various items via the Zazzle.com line of home and baby products. She chose each one to coordinate a charming baby's room for Henry. 

Two blankets formed the center. One hung on the wall opposite the crib, while the other one was laid over the crib rail. A wall clock, always essential, along with a table lamp and a night light made the decor coordinated. Since she had an antique rocker, we added a decorative pillow.

Storage Jar for Baby's Room

A few little extras were included. A storage jar to hold those loose items that always seem to show up and a serving tray to keep all the essentials close at hand. My gift to her was a treasure box with the Henry Plaid design.
